EcoPost 3.1.Homer Watson Park near Kitchener’s Fairview Park Mall is great site for a post-shopping picnic or a stroll among the hemlocks. If you have out of town visitors, the bluff over the Grand River offers the best view in town.

Homer Watson Park is adjacent to a regional museum, an art gallery, and gentle walks as well as extensive hiking and cycling opportunities. Check them out here!
By car, Homer Watson Park is best accessed from Wilson Avenue or from Huron Road, Kitchener.
There is a small parking lot on Wilson Avenue.
Old Mill Trail, a road at the south end of the park also allows access to the extensive trail system.

The Trans Canada Trail allows foot, bike and ski access.
You can make Homer Watson House and Gallery a destination on your walk.
By Bus: Grand River Transit bus route 10 allows access to the North end of the Park from stops on Wabanaki Drive, and loops to the South end, so it is possible to get off the #10, walk through the park and catch the # 10 back again to the Transit hub at Fairview Park Mall.

|There are several ways to get here by bike, but the site is not generally suitable for cycling except for a main north-south trail|
